  18. 2 tbsp Desi ghee
  19. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  20. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  21. to taste salt

  1. Firstly to prepare the pakora mix all the ingredients mentioned for pakoras and make a thick batter.
  2. Fry these in the form of round pakoras in hot mustard oil.
  3. Keep these aside.

  7. Add this mixture into the kadai with 2 cups of water.
  8. Switch on the flame and keep stirring till a boil.
  9. Let it simmer and cook for around 1 hour. Keep stirring in between.
  10. Now time to add the pakoras.
  11. Let it boil for another 15-20minutes.
  12. Make a tarka in a pan with desi ghee and red chillies.
  13. Put tarka over the kadi.Also sprinkle some fresh coriander according to choice.
  14. Serve with steamed rice and chopped onions.
