Curd rice is a south Indian meal made of cooked rice with homemade curd tempering tadka of mustard seeds curry leaves and green chilli.. Good in digestion during summer it prevents from bloating of stomach. Quick easy and tasty recipe

Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Curd rice:

  1. 1 bowl rice
  2. 2 bowl water
  3. 1 bowl homemade curd
  4. 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds
  5. leaves Few curry
  6. 3-4 slit green chillies
  7. as per taste Salt
  8. Pinch asafoetida(hing)
  9. 3 teaspoon oil or ghee

Instructions to make to make Curd rice

  1. Soak rice for 20 minutes.. Than wash it and cook in pressure cooker by adding water salt and 1 spoon oil by giving 2 whistle
  2. As whistle gets cool...remove rice from pressure cooker in mixing bowl.. Let it gets little cool
  3. Now add curd in rice mix well... In a kadai add ghee or oil add hing than add mustard seeds let it splitters than add few curry leaves and green chillies.. As tadka is ready spread tadka on curd rice
  4. Serve an enjoy healthy curd rice ☺️
