- 4 tblsp plain yogurt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp rose water
- for Rice
- 6 cups water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 6 cloves
- 5 green cardamom
- 8-10 whole black pepper
- 1 tsp white cumin seeds
- 1 & 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1 tsp ginger
- 4 cups basmati rice
- 1/2 tsp rose water
- 1 tblsp food color
- For Garnishing
- 1 tblsp ghee
- 1 tblsp fresh mint
- 1 tblsp fresh coriander
- Some Lemon sliced, Tomato sliced & fresh green chilli(optional)

Create layers of rice and chicken.
Sprinkle fried onions and ghee.
Garnish with fresh mint, coriander leaves, lemon, tomato and green chilli. - Add food coloring and cook for 10 more minutes on low heat with the lid on.
