  19. 1/2-1 C oil
  20. For Rice
  21. 3 C rice
  22. 1 tsp siah zeera
  23. 2 cinnamon stick
  24. 1 black cardamom
  25. Salt
  26. For layering
  27. Orange food colour
  28. 1 C brown onion

Steps to make to make Pilau Biryani #CookpadApp #RiceContest

  1. For Quorma: Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken with ginger garlic paste and whole spices until it changes colour.
    Add the remaining spices and cook for a while. Now add yogurt and 1 cup water. Let it cook at low flame until chicken is done. In the end add few drops of kewra essence. It's ready for layering.
